Recorded Sunday, Jared tries (a second time) to finish this episode. His first attempt just turned into a rant on the complete failure of FEMA and the current administration in providing real aid to those affected by Hurricane Helene. So, instead of ranting about the obvious, he tried to be a little more informative.
During the recent Battle Rifle course, a student asked about the closing song used on the podcast. Jared explains the meaning behind "Mess of Pottage" and why he uses it in the podcast. He uses the recent hurricane as an example of why you need to prepare. He reviews the basics for a 72-hour kit. You need something you can grab and go.
